Trip to the Hand Embroidery Workshop

Magical Mumbai

Suria has stepped into the colors, hustle and sights of Mumbai.  Mumbai has a lot of character in each neighborhood, great food and of course amazing fashion forward clothing for woman and men, being the fashion capital of India. 4 Weeks till Fashion Week in India!

We're finally in India and fortunate to be invited India's premiere fashion event, Lakme Fashion Week where the best of South Asian designers come under one roof.

India has constructed many historical buildings from the Mogul Era, such as the world famous Taj Mahal and Gateway of India. These monuments have been made with meticulous detail that unfolds the history and culture of India.

India is a magical country and holds a special place in my heart. It has rich history and vibrant colors that all reflect through art, fashion, and the beautiful people. In 2007, I had the opportunity to go to Delhi with my husbands family to design my wedding clothes for the many upcoming occasions we were going to celebrate.
